Have you always dreamed of a traditional Scottish country wedding? Perhaps you’d like to celebrate a big milestone with friends and family or hold a corporate event. Set in the Scottish Borders amid rolling hills and verdant forests, The Yair presents a serene setting in which to hold your event, whatever your reason to celebrate. Our charming country estate and its extensive grounds offer various options for all types of events. Hold a milestone birthday party or plan a beautiful, romantic wedding, complete with riverside settings and a walled garden that seems almost to have been designed for your post-ceremony champagne and cocktails.

The Yair is able to host up to 300 guests in its idyllic country setting, with several options available for marquees, catering and entertainment. We’re happy to help should you wish to take advantage of our experience and contacts. If, however, you have your own ideas and would like to involve other service providers, we will be happy to accommodate and work closely with suppliers of your choice.

Event Accommodation

The Yair boasts four charming holiday cottages accommodating up to 18 people, which can be made available to you and your guests, allowing you the freedom to relax and enjoy the celebrations without concern for transport on the day. Alternatively, should you wish to stay off-site, there are several accommodation options available in the surrounding towns and villages.
